How it works
- 01
Send the renewal
Upload the renewal offer or quote with your expiring policy. Tell us the expiry date.
- 02
Every line is compared
Software compares limits, deductibles, forms, exclusions, rating basis and premium between the two.
- 03
A person reviews
A qualified reviewer checks every change and writes the explanation.
- 04
You get a clear report
Each change, why it matters and the questions to ask before you decide.
What to send
- The renewal offer, quote or proposal
- The expiring policy with declarations and forms schedule
- Your current figures for payroll, revenue, vehicles and locations
- Loss runs, if you have them
- The expiry date
What you receive and when
Our standard is a line by line report within three business days of receiving the renewal and expiring policy. If your policy expires within ten days, tell us and we will review it first.
Get a renewal second opinionQuestions, answered
Is the renewal second opinion really free?
Yes. There is no fee and no obligation, and you keep your broker. If you want SF Coverage to handle your next renewal, that is a separate conversation.
When should I ask for a second opinion?
As soon as the renewal arrives. The earlier you understand the changes, the more time you have to ask questions or explore other options before expiry. Renewals SF Coverage handles start 90 days before expiry.
Will you tell me to switch insurers?
No. The second opinion explains what changed and why it matters. It is general information, not a recommendation. Decisions about coverage stay with you and your broker.
Can you explain a premium increase?
Yes. We separate changes in rate, in your exposures such as payroll or revenue, and in the coverage itself. Understanding which one drove the increase is usually the most useful part of the report.
What lines can you review?
General liability, workers’ compensation, commercial property, commercial auto, professional liability, cyber, umbrella and excess, and business owners policies.
What happens to my documents?
They are confidential, used only to complete your review, never sold and never used to train AI models. Ask us to delete them at any time.
