Keep your business insurance claim organized from the first report.
Claims slow down when documents are missing, deadlines slip and nobody owns the follow up. Send what you have, and we organize the claim file, list the documents the policy asks for and build a dated timeline. Free, reviewed by a person and back within two business days. The insurer decides coverage.
What you get
- Your claim documents organized into one file with a dated index
- A timeline of the loss, the report, every contact with the insurer and each request made
- The duties and deadlines in your policy conditions, cited to the policy wording
- A checklist of documents the insurer has asked for or is likely to ask for, with what is still missing
- Plain questions to put to the adjuster, your broker or your lawyer
- The file saved to your workspace, ready to share with anyone you choose
How it works
- 01
Send what you have
Upload the claim notice, insurer letters, photos, invoices and the policy. Tell us any deadline you know.
- 02
The file is organized
Software indexes every document, dates each event and maps the policy conditions to the claim.
- 03
A person reviews
A qualified reviewer checks the file, the timeline and the open items before release.
- 04
You get an organized file
An indexed claim file, a dated timeline and a checklist of what to send next.
What to send
- The policy, with declarations and forms schedule
- The claim number and every letter or email from the insurer or adjuster
- Photos, reports, invoices and estimates related to the loss
- Any contract that involves the other party, such as a lease or subcontract
- Any deadline the insurer has given you
What you receive and when
Our standard is an organized claim file and timeline within two business days of receiving your documents. If the insurer has given you a deadline within five business days, tell us and we will review it first. A person replies within one business hour, 8 am to 6 pm Pacific, Monday to Friday.

Is SF Coverage a public adjuster?
No. SF Coverage is not a public adjuster and does not negotiate or settle claims for you. We organize the claim file, documents and timeline as general information. If you need someone to negotiate on your behalf, a licensed public adjuster or a lawyer can do that.
Who decides whether my claim is covered?
The insurer decides coverage, based on the policy and the facts of the loss. We cite the policy conditions and organize the evidence so your file is complete, but we do not predict or promise an outcome. Questions about a denial belong with your broker or lawyer.
Is the claim file review really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no share of any payment and no obligation. We organize what you send and show what is still missing. If you later want SF Coverage as your broker, that is a separate conversation.
When should I send my claim?
As soon as you have reported it to your insurer, or sooner if you are unsure how to report it. Policies set duties after a loss, such as prompt notice and keeping records. An organized file from the start makes those duties easier to meet.
What if the insurer is slow to respond?
The timeline shows every contact and request with its date, so delays are easy to see. California sets rules on how insurers handle claims, and the California Department of Insurance accepts complaints. Your broker or lawyer can advise on the right next step.
What happens to my documents?
They are confidential. They are used only to organize your claim file, never sold and never used to train AI models. Access is limited to the people working on your request, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
